CGBG Advanced Training Scholarship Program

Designed to incentivize advanced training across the building industry in Colorado.

Who can apply?

All individuals who live in Colorado permanently, or who work remotely for a Colorado company, and actively work in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industries. This program is for individuals of any age, level of education, professional experience, etc.

  How Much Funding Can I Apply For?

  • Up to 90% of the cost of the training for programs up to $500.

  • Up to 75% of the cost of the training for programs over $500, up to $1,250. 

  • Individuals can apply to the scholarship program more than once, but a lifetime individual funding cap of $1,250 is in place for all applicants.

  • Multiple individuals from the same company may apply for the scholarship fund, however, an annual business cap of $2,500 is in place on a rolling 12-month basis.

Get a crash course in building science, and join Emu's active CPHT network! Attending a training in Passive House building science is a key step that enables construction professionals to design and build high-performance, low-carbon buildings, regardless of green building certification goals.

Qualifications

  • Most of the incentives for Passive building and high-performance construction training programs are designed for construction professionals.

  • Typical recipients of these green building scholarships include builders, general contractors, architects, designers, and other construction professionals.

  • Sometimes the construction workforce training scholarship programs are designed to fund the training of new employees

Skill Advance Colorado Grant Program

Transforming Colorado’s workforce through customized training.

Who can apply?

Skill Advance Colorado funding supports only Colorado businesses and employees. Employees funded must be residing and working in Colorado during the grant period, and all training funded by Skill Advance Colorado must take place within Colorado.

Skill Advance Colorado Grants Support:

  • New hire and incumbent worker reskilling, upskilling, and employee retention efforts.

  • Short term worksite training aligned with organization needs.

  • Wide ranging essential and technical skills development.

  • Colorado First Job Training Program funds customized training for net new hires of new and expanding Colorado businesses.

  • Existing Industry Job Training Program funds customized incumbent worker training of established Colorado businesses.
